modern Workshop
JOLEA MAFFEI Jolie will provide simple basic movement of Lester Horton's modern technique that is the basis of many of Alvin Ailey's works.

Comfortable clothing and bare feet.

Saturdays, 5:00-6:30pm

JoLea Maffei, danced with the Milton Myers Dance Company, the New York Ballroom Company, and performed the works of Gary Pierce, Christian Holder, Rod Rodgers and Lonne Morretton, to name a few. She currently teaches at NYU, Hofstra University and at Steps on Broadway, as well as internationally.

Theaater Workshop
Scott Thompson Begin learning those dance steps you see in your favorite theater and film musicals. Scott will break them down and put together a combination that will get you moving.

Comfortable clothing and either jazz or character shoes.

Sundays, 2:30-4:00 pm

Scott Thompson has won numerous awards for directing and choreographing some of Broadway's brightest talents in over 100 productions nationwide.

Lisa Harvie Join professional rhythm-tap performer and teacher Lynn Schwab as you learn to use your feet as a percussive instrument.

Comfortable clothing and tap shoes.

Sundays, 2:30-4:00pm

Lynn Schwab is currently a member of Barbara Duffy's Barbara Duffy and Company, Susan Hebach's The Tap Collective, and Max Pollak's Rhumba Tap.

ballet Workshop
kathyrn Sullivan Classical ballet concepts made easy! Learn ballet fundamentals in a fun and clear way from experienced STEPS teacher, and choreographer.

Ballet slippers and comfortable clothes required (available at Steps boutique).

Sundays, 4:00-5:30pm

Kathryn Sullivan performed with the Boston Ballet, Les Grands Ballet Canadiens, Connecticut Ballet, and Les Ballet de Nancy. She has taught at Broadway Dance Center, La Guardia High School of Performing Arts, New Jersey Ballet, and has done master classes and judging for Professional Dance Teachers Association and Dance Masters of America.
