Jayson "Mouse" Vasquez was raised in Brooklyn New York, and began training as a b-boy on the
streets of NYC. Jayson became versed in all styles of hip hop after assisting Robin Dunn at
the Rock Steady Reunion. There he made connections with hip hop pioneers such as Ken Swift, Mr.
Wiggles, and Fabel. Mouse went from the streets to the professional dance world. He began his
career dancing with Renny Harris Pure Movement Company and later joined Ill Style and Peace
Productions.
Mouse embraces all styles of dance and is classically trained. He has danced with Tyler Perry,
Ken Roberson, Eleo Pomare Dance Company, Louis Johnson Dance Company, and choreographed for the
Joan Miller Dance Company.
Mouse's Film/TV credits include Good Morning America, USA Network, and VH1's Hip Hop Honor Awards.
He has played a role in all of these as a featured dancer.
Currently, Mouse gives lecture demonstrations on Hip Hop history for Grand Master and Caz Curtis
Blow's Hush Tours and is a dancer for Ill Style & Peace Productions.
